pHad a few physical challenges, but am in better shape than most of my contemporaries, as I do still work out 3-4 times per week, and am into primitive archery and love getting out to the woods. I wasn’t a badass, wasn’t tall enough, didn’t bring in enough money, blah, blah. These are not just bitching, these are naturally the qualities women seem to want most, and most women will not alter their perceptions. It is automatically assumed I am gay because of my job, and the fact that I’m an artistic type . It was pretty frustrating to be regularly rejected in favor of shallow vapid types with status/money/height, but it is the way it is, I guess. And I’m not timid, I have had relationships, just none that didn’t involve me having to change who I am to meet fantasy requirements of my partners, or I was simply being played./p

pEspecially if you not in the “loop” or don’t drink anymore, especially for guys over 50. Most are either married or say they have a boyfriend. I was married for 24 years and had plenty of girlfriends before then. I feel like I live in the Twilight Zone. pNotice that that you are the only women commenting. Most women are only interested in the assets of a man which I find funny seeing that many women 50+ don’t have anything to offer a man! Women past menopause are no longer interested in being physical which is not their fault it is just fact./p

pAt 50 I just want a nice guy my age in reasonable shape to share my life with. Of course I want for the man to be able to support himself, but his money and status is not important to me. It may be hard for men in this age range to date, but it’s also no picnic for women, especially since I have found dating sites to be a waste of time, and I don’t care for the bar scene./p
